Just saw a girl that looked exactly like my ex from 2 years ago until I saw her face. I was feeling panicked and nervous until I realized its not her.

Or is that normal when seeing an ex by surprise when you haven't talked since ages?

I dont think I have the feels for her anymore at least I am no longer thinking of her only at times when I feel alone. Would never get back with her ever though.

Ahh man that's tough. Totally natural to get that panicked feeling when seeing someone who looks like an ex, even if you're over them now. Your body just automatically goes into react mode before your brain catches up.

I think as long as it was more of an initial physical reaction and not lingering feelings after you realized it wasn't her, then you're probably fine. Our brains can just trigger old memories and emotions in split seconds like that before we consciously know what's up.

As long as you're not sitting around missing her or wanting her back, I wouldn't read too much into that moment of panic. It's been 2 years - you've had plenty of time to fully get over her emotionally. I wouldn't stress about it if you're just living your life and not hung up on her these days. Seeing a ghost of the past can just jolt you for a second before your brain resets. I'm sure you're over her man.

Kinda stopped beeing attracted to her, last time I saw her I was even wondering why I ever thought she was the most beautyfull girl in the world once.
The tip of the iceberg is that she's now dating a guy we both know and who I absolutly despise ever since I know him. I wouldn't even touch her with tongs now.

doesn't change the fact that I wish her the best and hope she does well. We were toghether for 8 years and it didn't end badly.
