I miss my ex so much. He broke up with me a couple of weeks ago. I'm going to be in his city in a couple of weeks. Should I ask to see him?

If he wanted to see you, he wouldn't have ended things. Asking to meet up might just bring you more pain and set you back in your healing process. You deserve better than holding onto someone who let you go. Keep your dignity higher and move on... you’re worth more than a second thought.

A question as old as time I suppose. I think the best answer to that is to ask yourself why the relationship ended? If nothing is different than why would it end differently? Believe me I have had my share of relationships end and I have been the guy that clings on looking for hope when there was none. I am not saying that this is a 100% end but is there any changes, feelings on both sides not just one, or anything that will make him want to come back?

Don't tell him you miss him, and don't ask to see him.

If you want, you can tell him you'll be in his city in a few weeks, and say something along the lines of, "We could have dinner one night, if you would like."

Possibly the spark will be rekindled if you two meet. But more likely, it will remind both of you why the two of you are no longer a couple.

It never hurts to ask. It depends on what kind of circumstances it ended on but if it would make you feel better to see him the only way to do that is to ask and the worst that can happen is he says no.
