Why do some people chase after or stalk their ex after a breakup?

Because they are insane and have no dignity or respect for themselves , and have very low self esteem about themselves as well. They are trying to hold onto something that is no longer there, thinking they can magically make it better and fix what was broken between them in the first place , people that love each other do not walk away from each other period , if the damage could t be fixed during the relationship then it can’t be fixed outside the relationship , an ex is only hurting themselves by thinking they can do so. People are stupid to take an ex back into their life , I am stupid for allowing it to happen the 2 times that I did , And I kick myself on the ass for doing so. The connection we once shared is no longer there , the resentments do not go away , we can try to put a band aid on it but that band aid will eventually fall off again

Simply put, It didn't end on THEIR terms. It's funny, I've heard women on this site say when they break up with a guy they're over it in a couple weeks. But when a guy breaks up with them it might take a year to get over. Why do you think that is? Because she didn't get to decide that. I'm not going to just call it pride because love is probably involved to. And I'm not just picking on women here. I sure this is true of men as well.

I've only really stalked two people I felt a strong emotional link with, and I think that's because it was difficult for me to let go of them, obviously for me anyway.
