Have you ever wanted to make the person who rejected you regret their decision?

I got rejected by a girl and i want to make her regret it. But i dont mean like revenge in terms of like doing something bad or wishing her bad, no such a thing. I was head over heels in love with her. We kissed few times, we went out but then she rejected me. Till this day i dont know why. She said she doesn't have time for me but that is crap. Everything was going fine until it wasn't. She basically ghosted me and wouldn't say anything if i didn't come to her and ask her whats going on. And few months after rejecting me she was in relationship. Now we are okay, we talk but mostly it is teasing each other and making fun of each other, we have loads of mutual friends so we unfortunately meet pretty often which was one of the things that was stopping me from fully moving on. As i said i dont want to do something that would hurt her or anything mean. But i just took it personally. I was always driven but when we were involved together I unfortunately putted my goals a little bit aside. Now iam driven and motivated more than ever and i want to become so great and rich that one day she will look at me and see my life and will be like: damn i could have been with this guy and my life would be so great, i would have all this and he really loved me. Have you ever felt this way?

Hey man I am sorry you went through that being ghosted by the girl you were in love with that is never a good feeling and I think when one doesn't get a clear answer it can take a bit longer to fully move on subconsciously. Plus having to see her regularly due to mutual friends can place major bumps in the road to moving on.

I have felt strong feelings when relationships of the past have ended but I don't believe I have felt the feeling of wanting to make them regret their decision. I believe the only feeling I felt that could be somewhat related is that when I meet the right one who loves me for me I will be sure to take care of her and protect that smile of her's no matter what. So in that sense I am driven but that mentality.

I think it is good that you are motivated and driven to do great things and are aiming to be successful but I think you should do those things to be the best version of yourself/because you want to. Not for making her regret her decision.

One because I think it would best benefit you in the long run to moving forward and achieving your goals and two unless you reach like lottery number winnings or success of international fame it might be difficult to make her regret her decision plus even if you did reach those heights there are no guarantees she will react with regret and if she doesn't and you see that it could strike a mental blow to your psyche and then take away the joy of your accomplishments and make you feel empty. Plus if you become really successful and rich how would you know she regrets it unless she reaches out and personally says it?

Essentially I am sorry you are going through this hard and rough time without being able to get proper closure in this area of your life maybe talking it through with close family or friends or even therapy might be able to help you better move forward. But, I think it is great you have a mindset to work hard and aim high but you should do it for you not rooted in the motivation to make someone feel regret. in my opinion. A few years ago, I probably would have. Nowni realize it would just be a waste of my time thinking about that person. It's better to move on, forget them and find someone who actually accepts you.

Yeah I felt that way.. but then I just never cared enough to actually do it because most the time the other person won't give a shit anyways. So its always best to just focus on yourself and do good for yourself and know someone better will come along.
