I rejected my crush and then he started flirting with ex in ig stories?

So basically I ignored his advances. He did minimal effort, he's a princess and gave me anxiety because if he can't approach I felt worthless. This thing happened for like 3 months. I was into him and he into me but our relationship was study related so there couldn't been flirting. He's very insecure. So he then right after the rejection he started posting ig things for his ex which was in a new relationship. He and his were together for 2 years and broke up a year ago. Meanwhile he still had feelings for me but he continued with this ex thing. Of course, I knew he didn't respect me at all and he was using the ex too. His ex ignored him mostly and that same month she got pregnant after like 2 months of dating that guy. So toxic and rushed. That same month a HUGE thing happened something scam related involving millions of dollars involving his family (ex crush) but he's innocent (he was used because he's a bit dumb). He flew back to his country and I never saw him again.
She just married her new partner. And my ex crush have been lamenting all over. So pityful.
