I told her because she seemed bored or unenthusiastic whatever we did or wherever we went. I brought it up to her before but it seemed not to make any impact. When I would later end things with her, her first words from her mouth were, “I told you that you would be the one to end things.” It wasn’t that she was bad, just didn’t ever seem to want to be ‘there’, so to speak. When I think about the relationship and her personality in hindsight, I wonder if she was just very introverted and perhaps a bit on the “spectrum”. In retrospect it would explain her personality a lot. Anyway, bored and unenthusiastic are the reasons I gave her. It certainly wasn’t because of her looks. She turned everyone's head. Even women’s.

All the disaster relationship "attempts" that made it past the first few weeks:

• Relationship attempt 7: You cheated it's over (she cheated with her best guy friend)

And all other dates failed completely or were cancelled because I was rejected for not being 180 cm Tall (~ 6 ft) or for not being a football star or for not having a Ferrari.

So Casual hookups and ONS for the rest of my life it is for me...

I don't avoid relationships, but I'm not looking for them either.

I don't give them reasons. I just end things. It's not like they're going to react well to "because you're a whore" or "you talk to your ex" or "you have too many guy friends" or "you gained weight" or "you still go to bars and clubs" or "you don't cook or clean." Ya know?

I'm not trying to fix them. Plus, it's fun to rotate girlfriends every six months anyway. I don't have to move in with them and deal with that drama.

I don't really remember how I did it. It was a long distance relationship and after 3 years I could not see a way that we would ever get to be together. She wanted me to just some out there and live with her and we would make it work somehow, It did not seem like a good solution for me.

It was really sad but she realized that i was probably right. Before I hung up I told her that I loved her and she said that she loved me too.

I didn't really. One day I just woke up to how toxic and manipulative she was. I knew anything I said would just be twisted so I said as little as possible said it was over and wished her well. She spent the next two years. Trying to get me back. But one thing that proved what I said. In no time during those two years did she ever tell me she missed me and she wanted me back. Because she didn't. Oh, I don't doubt she missed all I brought to her life. But what she missed was being in control and controlling me. She wanted that back. That is all she wanted back. It still hurts me that after 10 years, I was with a stranger and never knew it. So, while on the outside, it looks like I'm cold. On the inside, a bomb went off that I'm still dealing with the scars.
