We have different ideas of what a relationship means and how to make one work. What I brought to the table didn't work with what they brought to the table and vise versa.
There are general ideas for each type of relationship out there; there's swinger relationships, there's friends with benefits relationships, there's traditional relationships, manogamous relationships, polyamorous relationships, there's polygamy relationships etc. And each one has its own set of general 'rules', but each person feels and thinks differently about how to abide by said rules and how to make those rules work and that is where the work and compromise comes in.

He not only got another girl pregnant, but I was tired of being abused mentally, physically, emotionally, verbally, and sexually for 5 years straight. I got tired of crying every single night and staying up until 4 am/6 am waiting for him to get home not knowing was he alive or safe. I got tired of him constantly drinking and spending all the rent money on alcohol, weed, cigarettes, video games, and expensive merch. I got tired of either me or both of us getting kicked out and being homeless. I got tired and had enough

To simplify: he cheated.

Detailed version: he blamed me for being "emotionally immature," but rather than express his displeasure with me and the relationship, or break up, he ran to another woman for attention.

Yeah I don't have time for immature boys like that.

Depends on which one.

The two most recent:

One of them I was starting to doubt the relationship, and whether I was where I was supposed to emotionally compared to him. I felt like something was missing and honestly. I got scared as well. I didn't feel it was fair to him either when I was pulling away slowly, we barely had sex and we both steered away from confrontation.

The other... well he was polygamous, and manipulative. It was super unhealthy, I was so far gone. I finally snapped away from his grab around me, and got out of the relationship.

He was suffering from only child syndrome in the worst way. Everything had to be about him. If I had a good idea, or thought, or plan or whatever, he would never acknowledge it. If I wanted to go somewhere for a date, he made it seem like I was asking a lot. He just really wanted to play video games all day and probably would have if he didn't have a job. I got sick of this and never really feeling like I or my feelings genuinely mattered to him in that relationship. About a year out he got married to a mutual friend, but she ended up divorcing him within the year because as she told me in the end, his number 1, was himself.

And my favorite, one guy was secretly trying to get at my mom WHILE WITH ME... and my mom has been married for 27 years

The main reason was because he was a master manipulator wanted to control what I wear to what I ate he also was a cheater I'm so thankful to God I got the strength to leave that relationship.
