I was still in college, he was already graduated and working on his career. His career had him move cross country. I wasn't ready or willing to move and leave my college and family and friends behind. It ended amicably.

We wanted different things. I wanted to move back home to be closer with my family while he wanted me to move with him and get married. We weren’t willing to compromise so we ended it amicably.

Never felt like he truly loved me and I had the duty of taking care of my own family and juggling that duty while trying to be a good partner took its own toll. After a point he fell in love with someone better and I kind of faded away from his life. It was for the best, it wasn't a messy break up and I found myself after it ended.

We argued too much and honestly a lot of it was we didn't know how to communicate and he wanted me to work on myself and expected me to but didn't expect that for himself. I was the problem and I felt like I was the one always fighting for the relationship and at the end he wanted to see other people. I wasn't his person ig. That's why ours didn't work out but he was definitely my first love! I tried everything and it still didn't matter to him in the end
