The exes I have in my phone are stored under their real name. They are there primarily because I never delete phone numbers for anyone unless they are deceased. And my call history would show that I have not spoken to any of them in at least 5-6 years.

I have no such thing as an ex-boyfriend, current one or future ex-boyfriend and thus, I don't have any contact names on my cell phone (not smartphone).

There are currently 4 numbers listed on my cell phone from 1996. My parents' number, my brother's number and my sister's number as well as the administrative unit of the university I attend. That's it. I don't need to store more phone numbers in the small memory of my antique phone.

If I had an ex-boyfriend, his name would have been deleted and blocked the second he became an ex. I don't even know if I can block unwanted phone numbers on my phone anyway.

Her name or a hardcoded online screenname she used to use depending on the platform. The one where I use her nickname is a gaming one and if I have so many contacts there that if I didn't assign her a custom name i'd never recognize her if she changed names / avatar.
