Seems like there’s a common denominator. You can give more context if you like, but from what I’m reading I’d just tell you to try to be careful who you give it to, the right person wouldn’t give it back broken or would at least be a good person and not lead you on.

No, it's better to not give your heart away soon after you have met someone. Don't invest more than you are getting. If you can, get counseling to help you break this pattern.
