Why fight so hard if there's no charges?

So I had an ex friend that had the deed to my house I was renting from this parents that was constantly sexually abusing me (ie anally raping) me over the course of 5 years. I never called the cops ok him because I had fear that I lose my house and I also have a child in my care. I found out that he was doing the same stuff to a friend of mine that he had dated for a month and she left him we all went and filed for p. o. on him mine was granted ex parte because of my situation and theirs did not. I go for court two days ago to get my two year order granted. This man got a whole attorney to fight a protective order, no criminal charges. I literally changed my number fled the house and blocked him and his family and he brought up six months of Facebook messages that shows him spiraling, my plenty of fish profile, my likes in the bedroom the other girls dismissed order his parents filing for eviction two days prior and because it wasn't a family member or relative that sexually abused me I don't get the order granted. Then he goes on to post on Facebook how I was jealous of him and manipulated everyone around him and tore apart his life and costed him thousands of dollars that he made the conscious choice to spend to fight a protective order so he can still contact me. It makes no sense and now im left questioning the justice system. How is this possible?

This is all real not fake. Not even for a minute. He tried to throw around that because I was a so-called friend of his he wanted to use me to invade the privacy of his last girlfriend to see what she was doing and if she was dating anyone else and I would not comply and he would blow up on me. He would manipulate situations to make himself look better. He's a pro at it
