Is my husband cheating?

My husband went from reserved and a little grumpy to positive and outgoing within two years.

I've noticed, he can't sit still and has to be around someone all the time. He's always texting "friends" or he's hanging out with extended family, friends & doing his own hobbies.

The only time he'll be affectionate with me is when we haven't had sex in a couple days. Ater sex he's back to his disappearing act.

I've explained to him that I'm feeling slightly used and alone but he doesn't seem to care. He doesn't show any type of emotion which is concerning. I don't trust him anymore.

Something feels off.

it’s always possible. But doesn’t mean he is. I think as men get older we tend to be more happier. Whereas women, as they get older they tend to be more unhappy. Not all, but a lot of times this seems to be the case. Myself, overtime I’ve come out of my shell more. Wouldn’t say I was shy or things like that. It’s just a lot of things in society annoyed me. I didn’t want to be around people. Stayed to myself. But now as I’ve gotten older I’ve let a lot of things go that used to bother me. Didn’t hang out w co-workers, now I do. I’m much happier in life. I try to do more things for more people. You said this happened within two years so he’s slowly transitioned like I did. Now if all of a sudden he was dressing better, trying to eat better, going to the gym, wearing cologne then I might say he may be talking to someone else intimately or interested in someone else. I do a lot of things w out my girl as far as hobbies. Whether that’s gardening, working on my truck, building something, selling things online, meeting people to purchase or sell something, watching YouTube videos or a number of a million things I do. We do spend time together so I’m not neglecting her but she understand I’m very busy w a lot of things that benefit her as well. Who knows maybe he’s always been this way but he can’t be because of you as far as your personality or how you feel toward him like you are now for acting the way he is.

It sounds like he is to me , but I can’t be 100 percent sure if he is or isn’t , but I can tell you this, he just likes the convenience of you if he is spending more time with his friends’ and hobbies than he is with you , it’s ok for partners’ to have friends’ but not ok if they prioritize those friends’ or whoever over their partner , which your husband is clearly doing to you , My advice to you is to have a sit down talk with him and express your feelings of concern to him that you feel used by him and you feel like you are a convenience to him , Do not ask him if he is cheating on you , because if he is , he isn’t

He could be going off you but you should try to communicate that you'd like to join in with him at his hobbies. That way showing some interest in his activities would maybe get him interested in being with you.
