Have you ever heard of the story of Tyler Ziegel?

I just stumbled across this on Facebook it's pretty heartbreaking. Tyler fought in the Iraq War and was severely injured/burned. He and his highschool sweetheart had agreed to get married when he returned from Iraq. Of course the face, the guy she new was not the guy that returned. Under pressure from the family and community they still married only to divorce a year later. His spouse said she could never fully accept Tyler's disfigurement. And according to this video there was an old flame in the picture etc.. But tragically Tyler passed away in 2012 from alcohol and heroine addiction. I'm happy at least that Tyler is pain free now.

So, we do not know if she left him for his facial changes or if she left him for personality changes. It might seem cruel to abandon a struggling boyfriend or husband but you do not want your future babies to be raised by a potential child abuser, a leech, a mentally insane sociopath, a drug addict, a wife beater or a damaged cripple who requires 24/7 mental health surveillance. I think over 75% of retired military officials abuse their wives because trauma changes you.

If you listened to the video she said it was his disfigurement. So at least as far as the video is concerned, we do know.

There is no audio or video recording of her saying that and it might be a lie told buy somebody who wanted publicity and traffic to their website.

No, I have not heard, but I can understand her point of view. She should never had bowed to social pressure and gotten married. She definitely did not look happy. Unfortunately for Tyler, he could not stand what had happened to him or his wife that could not either. It is my opinion that he committed his own death by his addictions which is the saddest part.
