4 months after break up, I live my best life… I made a trip for my brother to come here with me and organized a very fun trip for his birthday, having the blast together with my friends. It was always my dream…

Now as I posted a video of three of us, my ex loved the video… I wonder why? We’ve been no contact and I’ve told him I didn’t want to talk anymore and we both told each other we’d miss each other…

Why love my photo suddenly after 3 months of our no contact? It’s sweet to see that he’s happy for me, just confusing because even though we told each other we loved each other even as we were breaking up, we both decided distance was the best choice.

Maybe he’s starting to feel more comfortable interacting with your social media. Plus you’re doing something notable, like having fun on vacation vs working out at the gym or something equally casual in your day to day. If you don’t post very often there could be that too. In any case, only he can tell you his motive, for all we know he may be trying to extend the olive branch. Only time will tell.


If I were you I wouldn’t make it any more than just a simple “heart emoji” in my mind. Mainly because you don’t need a mental reset on all the work you’ve done these past few months to both let him go, and feel good enough to live your best life in present time. Trying to search for deeper meaning is what’s causing your confusion, which will only lead to curiosity, then ultimately talking yourself into reaching out. You’ll tell yourself that maybe he’s missing you but too shy or whatever, it’ll just lead to a landslide basically, and I don't know if you want that.

I am not going to reach him out, the decision to cut ties was made by me but ultimately he led me to that choice…

And I told him if he ever changed he would have to be the one to come and find me, because I was gone for good… I still am…

But that simple reaction still temporarily messed with my head a little.

Liking a photo has nothing to do with wanting to recontact you. As you said, it appears he's happy for you and wants to keep the distance intact. He has not asked to talk to or see you, has he or be a "friend." Leave it at that.

When you are treated a certain way and you have a breakup things do not change the reason for the breakup is because you are not meant to be together it's not just between you and him it's between the universe the energy that runs the universe it told you you're not meant to be together so walk away stay away and find that new somebody because the news somebody's going to be better than all of them you just have to look at things different instead of dreaming and hoping and wanting because it never going to be the same it's going to be worse if you get back with the guy follow the universe be a part of it become one with it and you will find your real partner

Because he probably misses you or he doesn’t want to be on bad terms with you , hoping whatever happened in the past between you both, that you both can come to a mutual understanding or reconcile your differences . It basically comes down to why you broke up with him in the first place and he is hoping you are over whatever happened. Just because a couple doesn’t work out per say, it doesn’t mean you both have to be enemies over it , Some of my exes reached back out to me to apologize for what happened between us , hoping I would forgive them. And no longer be upset with them and some of. Them wanted a second chance. So that might be a reason he is loving your post , he more than likely misses you

Why are you letting such a small thing set you off on this overthinking? He liked your picture, it's not a big deal. If you want to talk to him then do it, if you don't then don't.
