We had been together 4 years when I was blindsided by a breakup. We didn’t even have a fight.
I didn’t try getting in touch with her, after 3 weeks she texted me to see how I was doing. We visited a bit and she asked about coming over to get her things. We arranged for her coming over the next Tuesday.
We were continuing to visit a little each evening. On Monday she said she couldn’t make it to get her things on Tuesday.
On Saturday I asked her about how things were going with her foot, which she had surgery on earlier this year. She replied with a paragraph about what all she’s been doing and that she’s doing better and then asked me how my new job is going. I replied about the job, that it’s great she’s doing better, and asked what her new goal to accomplish is since she’s accomplished getting back to normal walking. I got no response from her after that. That isn’t like her at all, she’s always felt like she has to reply to anybody that texts her, even if it’s an ex or someone she doesn’t like.
I didn’t try texting her anymore, figuring she may have fallen asleep. But now it’s been a week. I still haven’t tried texting her again.
This has left me with very mixed signals. I am concerned, wondering what is going on. I haven’t had any idea how she feels, or how she’s been handling things. She still hasn’t picked up her things, I don’t know if she’s confused, or what it could be.
