Ex-boyfriend asked me out to dinner?

My ex and I had broken up 5 months ago, due to his childish ways. We then became FWB, I still had feelings for him so we cut that off. That went on for about a month or so after the break up. I've seen one other guys since him, and he's seen 2. Received a message from him yesterday asking me to text him when I got the chance. Curious as to what he wanted, I texted him. He then asked if I wanted to go to dinner with him. I told him that "we'll see". I also asked him why he was wanting to go to dinner with me. He told me that he had a date Friday night that he got stood up on, and that he's lonely. I have yet to make a decision. Should I go, or not?

I went to dinner with him, and everything wen great. Turns out, he's been missing me and he wants to try things again.

It may not hurt to go once, you could at least determine his goals by going, and either cut him off, or be a friend possibly? Who knows what he really wants. He could honestly miss the friend he might of had in you, or he misses your vagina for lack of a better word. lol

just go, and enjoy the night, as long as you keep in mind that he's your ex and your just having dinner the night should be fine. Plus during dinner you can find our more of what he's up. He might need a friend to trust.
