My guy friend wants to take me to dinner?

Except he has a girlfriend. No drama with it, just that we work together an we get along very well and hug a lot and flirt. I initially had a crush on him, but kept my feelings at bay sincere found out he's taken, and in love. He insists on hanging out with him and his girlfriend and his girlfriend told me he likes me a lot, and the best at work. I covered one of his shifts this week and he said he'd like to take me out to dinner, but he'd bring his girlfriend along "so it won't be awkward". Am I just thinking it's fishy because I have a small crush or is something up?

I would be cautious about hanging out with him because he is in a relationship. But if you want to hang out with him and his girlfriend and be a third wheel then I would go with it lolz. He could just really want to be friends with you because he finds you interesting s0o0o0 I wouldn't worry about it to much unless in the future he tries to make a move on you while he is still dating his girl friend.

Cause he already has a girlfriend, I think you should be cautious to keep your distance lest you ruin what they have together. It would be a little different if you had a guy and it was a double date but someone might end up being a third wheel and that can get mighty uncomfortable. I'd decline the offer if it was me.

Well it'd be different if he was NOT bringing his girlfriend, I think he's just being nice.
