Have you ever regretted letting someone go?

Have you ever met someone in your life (even if you never had a relationship with them) and let them only to realize that you were wrong?

I met this guy and we only texted. After a few weeks I broke things off with him because I was going through a lot of stuff with family, work and friends. After a month of not talking to him I really regret losing him. I still think about him everyday but I'm too scared and embarrassed to reconnect with him.

And I think you really should do something about it, if not you always will regret it.. I know that because it's something I have done. I really liked this guy and I know he liked me too... But I stopped talking to him after a whole and things never worked out.. I still regret it as I still feel a connection there.. Every time I see him, it's such a horrible feeling. And I met this guy 3 years ago... And still nothing.. Sigh..

So yeah the quicker you get to it, the better. And if things don't work out, you'll know that at least you tried.

Don't feel embarrassed to text him. I say do it! normal conversation and maybe thank him for understanding when you had so much going on. It might make his day when he reads that text :)

You're never going to know if things should have gone on longer if you don't text and find out.
