Should I follow my EX on social media?

Broke up with this girl almost 10 months ago after being together for a year and a half. She ended it with me. It was kind of a sh*tty break up.

I do wish I was still together with her but have come to terms that it will never work out. I still do care about her tho.

My question is, Should I follow her on social media platforms? I recently got a twitter and instagram. We are Facebook friends and normally I would just follow everyone who I'm friends with on Facebook but I don't want to follow her if that would be weird, I don't want her to think I'm trying to get back with her by following her or something. So what should I do? Follow or not follow?

I wouldn't. Especially if you're not fully recovered from the break-up. You will most likely get jealous or envious of her if she's constantly bragging about her successes. And you might get the urge to contact her again. I admit I Facebook-stalked my ex for almost a year. And when she found a new guy I was more jealous and hurt than ever. I think I may have gotten over her faster had I not followed her

I think you should not follow. Unless your actually interested in knowing what's going on in her life. I say just leave her in the past, you are already Facebook friends with her what's the point of being friends with her else where. I'm sure you see enough of what she says on Facebook. Just let it be.

I don't think so, it might come off as stalkerish even though that's not your intent. Probably wouldn't be best for you to remind yourself of who she is or something, doesn't it hurt to see what's she's up to or anything?

I would say no. Maybe in the late future when it's old news and you have both had time to recover (maybe) but not now. But that's me. Totally up to you.
