Why is my ex-girlfriend trying to ruin my current relationship?

Okay, so me and my ex broke up obviously. I was crazy for her and kept trying to talk to her but she kept ignoring me and seemed like she was happy, until one day I met this new girl. Me and the new girl became really good friends and then we began to fall in love, we have been dating for 6 months now and my ex all of a sudden comes back saying "I like your close friend, can you tell me about him?" and I began to ignore my ex. Then later out of no where again she says "Hey, a friend of mine says that she sees your girlfriend flirting with other guys and tries to avoid you when you try to find her" I told her that isn't true and that I have the proof on that. Now my ex is actually going crazy.. I mean she is yelling and trying to play with my head.. Why is she trying to ruin my current relationship? I mean I know I shouldn't bother but I am really curious and wanting to get to the bottom of this.. Please help, Thanks!

It's what they do... It's funny that she left you and yet still wants you in a "relationship state" without being in a relationship. This is the sense of entitlement that many girls have. She didn't want you before, and now that she has seen and heard about you how you are treating your current girlfriend she has something to say? Typical girl that wants to have a piece of cake, take one bite, push it away, and then complain that someone else saw the cake with more value.

This is just selfishness. There are some guys that do this crap too. By the way, this is what you get sometimes when you try to be "friends": with an ex. You were not friends. If you were she would have been happy for you. She still wanted you to chase her and to string you along on her terms until she was done with you and not vice versa. She was expecting you to help her swim to shore and you left her to drown. You did the right thing by moving on, and you have to keep that going by never talking to her again. Once again, it's what they do...

As you said, she's crazy. "If I can't have you, nobody will." She probably enjoyed the attention she was getting from you, even though you weren't a couple. She just doesn't want to be ignored; she wants that reaction from you or other people in your life.

It probably bothers her that you have completely moved on and that you don't need her or try to run after her any more. She's jealous because what she wants is for you to constantly run after her.

But in my opinion, it's probably as simple as jealousy.

I forgot to add that, I did ask and she said "Because I care about you, but fine don't believe me. I thought we were friends" kind of answer.
