Why does ex girlfriend keep blocking/unblocking me on Facebook?

So we broke up about 7 months ago after a 2 year relationship. I came back about 3 months ago to try and make things work again. She basically strung me along and has a new boyfriend now.

Why on earth would she keep blocking and unblocking me on Facebook? I don't understand, is she expecting to get my attention and still playing mind games?

She's lost (the emotins inside of her aren't full, and when she was with you she felt fulfilled). She doesn't know what she wants (the desire for fulfillment is there, and the memory of you being connected to that feeling keeps her coming back, but she can't do it again because she knows the outcome is the same). She's making sure you're still single (checking to make sure it looks like she's getting along better than you). Unless she stated she plays mind games with men, she doesn't know that it appears as if she is doing so.

She is probably a very scattered individual, whether she looks like she is or not, she is. She's driven by the past, and her unconcious emotions, and doesn't have anywhere to vent them, so she acts on them. She's probably obsessive compulsive (google it). She just has a void and knows she can fill it with what you used to give her (emotinally), but knows things have changed and it would never be the same, so then blocks you again. Repeat ;)

She unblocked me almost two weeks ago and it has stayed that way. We aren't friends so can only see her main page. For these 2 weeks I have spent so much of my time wondering what I should do now. Whether to block her so I can move on, message her something simple (might not be the best idea) or wait for a message which might never come. My birthday is tomorrow.

Any further insight?

Well, if you're with someone for 2 years, than you like that person.

She might want to rebuild at least a friendship together, but every time you guys talk you know you remember the issues that broke you up and things like that.

It sounds like she wants to be at least friends again, but is going about it a really strange way.

That is somewhat what I figured. The last time we spoke was about a month ago (while she was still dating this guy... was talking about coming back to me).

She ended up blocking me two weeks ago, unblocked me earlier this week and then just noticed today I was blocked again.

I was expecting a message to apologize what she did, and how she played with my emotions. After 2 years together I found it completely unfathomable.

You think she was just checking in and thought I wouldn't notice?

I can't tell you exactly what she was doing, but it's like I said, unless you guys had a massive failing out, and a really poor end to the relationship (like cheating or something), then generally you can't not still care for someone you were with for 2 years, it might not be love, but there is always still something.

She did another round of blocking and then unblocked me 3 days ago after you sent your message. Any more insight would be appreciated! Want to talk to her but know it is not my move to make, figure if she wants to talk she will message me?

Well if she keeps doing that, she might want for you to make the money, it's not always the case but...girls like boys making the first move, most of the time. It sounds like this is the case here, either way it can't hurt to just say hello and see what happens?

She's probably confused...she wants to keep in touch because she misses you, but it makes her sad to see your updates on Facebook, so she can't decide what she wants to do.

Well she isn't a friend on Facebook so would only be able to see my main page with nothing on it except a small profile pic and my cover. Currently am back unblocked...expecting the 3rd block once her 48 hrs is up. Find it hilarious. Wish she would cut the sh*t.

She's attention seeking! If she keeps blocjking and unblocking you on Facebook, then just unfriend her. You 2 are over now and you have a life to live, you don't need an ex playing games with you!

Well she's not even a friend on my FB anymore. After the breakup it wasn't good seeing her add dudes or me adding girls. Just noticed because some comments came back on my wall then disappeared again. She blew me off so not sure what her problem is, not like I'm messaging her at all, don't even see why a block is necessary.
