My ex is checking up on me?

Ok so 3 weeks ago my ex broke up with me...he said he fell out of love..idk how but anyways so I said couple means things and never contacted him again..when we were together we used to talk on whatsapp and he said that I was the only one he talked to on whatsapp...so after the break up..like usual I have other friends that I talk to on whatsapp..and one day like last week he texted me saying oh you still come on whatsapp and check on me..i know I don't check up on him lol seems like he checks up on me...why is he doing that? I thought he wanted out of this relationship...can you guys tell me? it shows every night before going to bed he checks up on me..? (yeah I have been checking on him since he msgd me) lol

If you want him back, play it really cool and try to ignore him for as long as you can. This is a good sign that he is thinking about you. But you have to make sure you act like you've lost interest!
