How did you deal/overcome it?

Im so confused about my ex boyfriend
Giving me mixed signals and all

Me and my former partner had a massive bad break up 6 months ago
This week he's been sending me love messages to get see me and get back together
But then I said no and he started sending me rude messages

He keeps calling me b*tch, sl*t, h*e.. etc
Keeps saying I left him for another guy (which is not true)
Blah blah...
He keeps blocking and then unblocking when he wants to say something

Then today (a week later) he tried to add me on social media
And messaged me saying:
- he's sorry
- he's just angry because i moved on so quick and he couldnt
- he knows we can't be together anymore and he doesn't want to
- he wants to be civil and mature
- he's doing his own thing
- he doesn't want to interfere with my life
- he doesn't need or want anyone
- he recognizes I've always been there for him
- he wants to move on
- he wants to have each other on social media

I replied “i dont understand u…”
Then he replied “i dont either but thanks for accepting my add”

Why would he want to have each other on social media if he wants to move on?
Why would he add me again?
It doesn't make sense

Even if they’re still single but the thought that this could happen

How do I get rid of these thoughts and feelings, it’s really eating me inside.

I live in a small town and i was just thinking on how i would react if i ran into my ex. I dont know if we ended on bad or good terms because he broke up with me but we still communicated everyday after it. Things were still good between the both of us until i made it clear we no longer needed to stay in contact with each other since we are broken up. He blocked me but he really didn't need to.

But im just curious how would you react if you saw an ex?

Its been over 6 months since our breakup
And recently my ex boyfriend popped up and said he still loves me and wants to meet me and talk
He wanted me back
But I said no

Then my ex boyfriend been messaging me everyday
Insulting me
"Ur a sl*t"
"Ur a b*tch"
"Ur ugly"
I just ignored those messages

Then he love bombed me again and saying sorry about everything he said above
And poured out his feelings from 12am to 3am

But i still said we can't be together anymore

Then now everyday he has been sending insulting rude messages again
And i tried to ignore them

He stopped the rude messages today though
didn't hear from him

Do you think he finally stopped? Or will message again?

Why is he doing this?

I’m 24 moving to another state to live with my fiancé and his grand mother…not by choice but for family reasons. She’s expecting me to ask her how she feels about me moving there. Now don’t get me wrong. I respect my elders and I actually planned to speak with her. But the vibe I’m getting is that I owe her that…and at the end of the day I told my fiancé I didn’t want to live with family all my life. I’m literally moving from my family home so it’s like I’m leaving one controlling family household to another. I don’t want to explain what I do, where I go, or if what I do makes them feel some type of way when I’m a damn adult.

I just don’t like the fact that I’m not given the same common courtesy as well. The phone works both ways and nobody was ever invested in our relationship until he proposed. One I feel horrible enough that I’m a grown ass woman about to go live with someone else’s family. Just makes me regret not saving for my own place and following through with that. I knew he was going to look out for his grandmother I’d do the same but how do we fit us both working full time, attempting to manage kids if we have any and then him taking care of his grandma…. any good man would but where’s the breaking point

He literally bugged out on me and told me to leave him alone because he’s already stressed & annoyed and I’m putting the nail in the coffin…

What should I do?

he broke up with me because he doesn’t see a future right now with long distance.

i went no contact for a month

He never has managed to get any attention ever. I was by mutual friends I was out of his league but it’s never ever bothered me.

He went out on sat said he got attention (I kinda think he didn’t he just thinks he did) then he was acting smug. Ended things made a new Instagram account and followed girls hee preciously tried to cheat with who didn’t want him before. And then blocked me.

He also tried to claim I cheated so maybe revenge since he is that petty.

Is that why he broke up with me?

30 days no contact. So I called him. We broke up due to long distance so nothing bad. I'm not looking to get back together today but I would like the option to be there.

He answered on the second ring and we talked like nothing had changed in the last 30 days. Caught up on a lot. He even put me on speaker with his sister and we talked about some stuff and upcoming vacations etc.

I just want to know if this is a good sign of possible friendship/reconciliation.

He had cheated previously and I was terrified of him doing it again.

I asked some days, some days I didn’t, sometimes multiple times a day I’d ask do you have someone behind my back. You did this does that mean you’re gonna do something. He said it was super annoying. But I said we’ve never addressed it yeah your promising and apparently not doing anything at all. But I’m worried you will. There was weeks I’d not say a thing. Then somedays I’d ask twice. Some weeks daily.

Did I cause the break up from that?
