Should I buy her a small gift for the third date?

At the start of the second date, she gave me a piece of cake from her birthday after we joked about it previously. On that date, we joked about rubix cubes and trying to solve them, etc. I was wondering if I should buy her one and bring it on the third date as a silly little gift for her? Or is it too much too soon?

Personally if it was a inside joke I would love it I mean a rubix cube isn't the much not like ur buying her fancy jewelry so I say go for it and if u think it is too soon then just buy it for urself and bring it on the next date

i think that is cute and it shows that you are thinking about her. you know you could get a rubix cube key chain that way she can clip it to her keys or bag and she will smile and think of you every time she looks at it.

Too soon, I think. It puts her in a corner to feel like she "has" to like you, which makes many people uncomfortable. Food is different than a gift.

It's a cheap gift, about £10. Might just play it into a joke we have. We're both giving each other forfeits if we lose at bowling tomorrow. I could "play it in" and say she has to complete one haha.
