So this guy and I are good friends for several years and we've been texting almost everyday lately. He asked if i went to the park right by his house and I said sometimes with my friends. He then said oh cool maybe we could go w other people. Then he proceeded to give me his address... Early today he also said we should hang out w a few of our other friends in a group. what does this mean?

look guys are animals sometimes. if I like a girl and I'm not getting the desired response from her, before giving up on her completely, I will already start keeping my next options ready. this might be what is happening. i don't have any context and I'm just saying this based on what you've told so far and my understanding.
