He gave me his number, now what?

So there's this guy that I'm really attracted to and we've been talking ever since I added him to Facebook. He gave me his number and told me to call him if I decide to go out tonight. He encouraged me to go out.

Should I? I mean I really like him but I don't want him to think I'm easy.

I feel like if I contact him while we're both out and partying it'll turn into, just a really hot hook up. But I might want something more with him (I don't know him well enough yet to know that though).

Should I play it off tonight and wait a weekend, see if he's still interested in me sober, tomorrow? Or should I just go for it?

If I don't call him from a party tonight, when should I use his number and how? (He doesn't have mine)

I strongly believe that if you like him and you possibly want more. Do NOT call him tonight.

It absolutely puts things in his favor and tells him that he's "got you" if you're wiling to change your plans at the drop of a dime for some new stranger. Show him that it will take a little more effort on his part to get included in your plans.

Waiting a couple days to call shows him that you're not some play toy, and he's going to have to up his game to get your affections.

And while you're at it, pick up the book "You lost him at hello". An amazing dating book about women who constantly make the wrong moves early in the game (you're only real opportunity at setting the pace and getting what you want).

If you're really worried about sending the wrong message, wait until the next day, then give him a call about going out for coffee or something. If he asks you why you didn't call him when you went out, just make up some excuse like your friend got too drunk and you had to spend all night taking care of her.
