Should I be careful with this over-eager guy?

Just started talking to this guy on Match. com, and he's a bit too eager, he already asked me out to meet today and I said we only started talking. And then whenever I took my time to respond, he will respond with a "sorry if you're bored of me". We have some similar interests and he already said he would love to take me out to a jazz bar (we talked about jazz bars).

Even when I said I'll talk to him another time, he will text me a few hours later with a "just felt like saying hi". Basically, this guy doesn't seem to have much game, and is rushing things, seems a bit insecure.

Should I just be careful and stop talking to this guy? First time using match. com and I find there are too many random people on here.

I think this is more of an online dating thing. You see women get far more matches than men get and far more messages. And the vast majority of women who say that they will message you later will never do so because most women will only have a conversation​ with somebody who really wows them. On top of that a good conversation with a woman over online dating can end over one question if that question falls flat. Really the only way for a man to be successful in online dating is to meet the woman as quickly in person as he can so he has a chance to actually show off his personality and show the woman that he actually exists. If you actually intended on talking to him another time then you are in the minority.

That's not too bad. I ask for a date within a day or 2. In my mind, it's pointless to talk all day. When you meet in person that's when you see the real person. You could talk to someone online for months and than when you meet it's a different person than the pictures. Usually a real legit person is not scared to meet up. The ones who string you along and never want to meet face to face are the ones you have to watch out for

Stop talking to him. I don't think you'd last or like this guy. he's insecure and doesn't know how to date basically. Like you said no game. Probably would get bored.

Have some self-respect, realize You are worth more, be patient, and let this one pass by. There's plenty of fish.

I would say only for an hour. He messaged me yesterday with a "hi, would you like to go for a drink", but I ignored it. And then this morning, he messaged with a hi again, so decided to just talk to him.
