I have recently started to date a guy who is a christian, and shares my faith. We exchanged messages back and fourth for a few weeks before meeting, and I have now been on one date with him. The date went really well and he bought me chocolate, and then texted me soon after the date telling me he was definitely up for meeting again and asked me if I wanted to go on a second date with him and that he likes to plan ahead. We have now arranged a second date.
Since arranging the date, he messages me, and the other day he sent me a message asking me if I had read any religious books on the topic of dating because he wants to approach dating in a different way to his family and friends who aren't religious, and wants to be Godly. He also said after getting to know each other, that we should read books together to get more familiar with the idea of christian dating
Is he being too forward, and should I be cautious about him?
