First date, wait inside or outside if you arrive first?

Should you wait inside or outside weather permitting and time of day. I know people have differing opinions.

Casual bar/brewery vs more formal date make a difference?

I think it's fine to wait inside, have the table ready and once your date arrives to stand up and greet them, pull the chair out etc. there's no difference in my opinion between the types of dates, however, the more formal the date, you should probably be picking your date up. Just my opinion!

it depends on how late they are, you wouldn't want to be out there for awhile and then tell them you were waiting outside for them the whole time but it's still a nice gesture
