How serious is it that he asked me to a military ball?

We've gone out once. On a Tinder date. It went well, but we haven't even kissed. We're going out again Sunday, but he asked me to his military ball (navy). How serious is this? I'm definitely not ready to classify myself his girlfriend. What would going mean?

first off Dear, kiss is not a benchmark. You need have to kiss , it's emotions and feelings that matter.

if he's asked you for a military ball, you probably shouldn't refuse. I mean just think about it, "he's pretty sure about you" why else would he like you to come to such a formal event , with more than a dozen of his superior officer's present.

I mentioned the age, coz though I'm 23 I'm old skool in few things like this. I believe at your age you should be more focused about further studies and career prospects. And if a guy calls you to a formal event like he might bepretty serious. Which I don't think you are, which is quite natural

It's an annual formal event each military branch has. Lots of traditions, speeches, and ballroom dancing from what I've researched.
