Should I ask him if he's talking to other girls?

So been talking to this guy for like 7 months. It's been a struggle due to school and my family. Don't even know what we are right now. He's my first boyfriend (im 19). See, we used to talk a lot in the begininng but I noticed this month, he's been talking less. I've asked him about four times if he's been talking to to other girls and he's denied. We talked about the less communication (resolved now) and I forgot to ask him if there's a possibility he's talking to someone else. Should I ask this next when I see him or leave it alone?

You don't know what you are now so you can't call him your boyfriend. Ask him where you are in your relationship first.
