What does it mean when a guy is willing to wait for you?

I've been dating this guy for a few months now and he has really been the real gentleman. Taken me out on dates, texting me everyday and calling me just to say goodnight.

I'm still a virgin (I'm 18 and he's 21), which I confessed to him and even though he's experienced and everything, he told me that he thought it was brave of me that I've been waiting, which many girls don't do. He thought it was beautiful and that he didn't want to push me into anything if I feel that I'm not ready. When he says that he's willing to wait for me, what does it mean?

If i'm not ready to have sex with him now, will he start to lose interest in me? How long do you think he has the patience to wait for me?

If he really is into you then he will wait for as long as it takes... it means that he won't push you into having sex with him... he will wait until you know in your heart, mind, and body... that u want to experience that... good guy you have there because most guys would just want to get it over with but no not him he's willing to wait... and lol he might have urges to have sex with you but somehow someway he suppresses them and says that he will wait... maybe you help him do that... maybe he does it himself... either way... sounds like a good guy.
