Why does my boyfriend ask questions about my period?

Me and my boyfriend was talking and i thought i was on my period. So i was complaing about my stomach. I was like let me go check. So i checked and i was on my period. He started asking me a bunch of questions about my period. Why was he asking so many questions about my period?

You know, not all guys are interested.. most avoid anything having to do with the subject, but some guys... well... I'll say this, if they are the naturally curious type... they will ask because it's just a world we will never know. never experienced it, never will know what it's like, so... asking our girlfriend is the closest way to get information. I once asked my girlfriend if I could insert her tampon for her... no real reason and it wasn't sexual at all, just because it was something I had never done and knew nothing about. I know most women view their period in pretty an unfavorable light, but for some guys... it's just a natural neutral thing. hope this helps...

We males are actually quite interested in female biology, especially the parts that have to do with sex and reproduction. What better way to learn about something we are interested in than to ask someone we know personally who is going through it?

Because he doesn't know what it is like to have a period, and to know what you're going through makes it easier for him to see where he might be able to help you, or understand you a bit better (every woman's period is different).

Curious. Especially if you are a new couple. Some women won't have sex when they are on their period. A few guys I know won't touch a woman during that time. Don't get what the big deal is. Thats when her clit is the most sensitive.

Guys don't get periods so maybe he's curious, maybe he's trying to make you feel better It depends what questions he asked
