Why He smirks everytime he talks to me?

I have this huge crush on this guy the problem is he always smirks when he talks to me I wonder why?

Well maybe you make him smile when you talk to him especially if you're already smiling when talking to him , it could be contagious for him. He could smirk because he likes talking to you or because he likes you. That's all I can tell you for now since there's not too much detail on the guy

I met him at school like 4 month ago , once he asked me if he could borrow a pencil and then he asked me if we spoke the same language. Now we are not that close I mean I ignore him because I get nervous.
