My boyfriend told me last night that I make him nervous sometimes. Is that normal? What does it really mean?

It's a new relationship. He kinda has low self esteem and he doesn't understand why I'm with him. He was telling me that I was pretty and somewhere in the convo he started talking about how I make him nervous when he comes over.

Like the other guys said it depends. If this relationship is new it may be simply because he's afraid to mess up, do something wrong, or say something you won't agree with. If you've been with him for a while, really think about your actions/words towards him. Taking a good look at yourself may tell you a lot

See? Now you know exactly why. As to how to help the situation, it sounds like one of his love languages is words of affirmation. Meaning he will appreciate kind words, compliments, and a simple "nice job" here and there. It will make him feel less nervous and at the same time he'll learn to further appreciate and love you.
