There are creepy guys on any site you use, paid or not. This is the reason I was really sceptical of online dating myself but I found sucess with OKcupid. You can filter out the age ranges/relationship type you want and look up interests and shows % matches~ my boyfriend and I were 87% compatible on there :)
I used my profile pic here on the dating site and got a lot of genuine attention as I didn't show off my body/cleavage or try to look sexy~ no filters either. A few guys said that I stood out a lot. If you're using a sexual style picture then you will probably get any and every mans attention. If a guy keeps messaging you and harassing you then just block them, it's not a huge deal if you ignore them and just block.

One lady I was talking to recently showed me the list of "winks" she had received on her cell phone as being a new member on this dating site. There were 100+ recent contacts from guys. No kidding.

Are they actually messaging you or just browsing your profile? I mean, desperate people exist. Maybe you should have more compassion if they're not actually bothering you? Just use better filters. Something like tinder only allows people to message you if you match.
yep they even on disabled dating sites too where you can't not control anything. that i like badoo and some facebook dating since show you more in common interested and pass by it the creeps. then lot older then me. i'm 24 year old and got baby face. the facebook dating is younger 18-30+ are only one that i seen since i also can filter age on both facebook dating and badoo is very good with lot of safety feature chat requst before you can accept it or delete. if you don't like the person. facebook dating has be done through facebok social media then see loveheat on 3 lines and said dating on it.
I was on a dating site not long ago. You might be surprised by the look of some of the women who contacted me. 75% of the women who contacted me lied about themselves, either about their age or their look (posting 10 year-old pictures). How many women have I accepted to meet, because I thought they were cute, only to realize that they were overweight (I'm slim and I expect the same). So much so that I adoted a policy by which I would not meet a woman if she only uploaded close-up pictures of her face; I wanted to see the whole body. Online dating is the paradise of liars, both men and women. But at the end, I finally met a really nice lady, who's a real head turner - my friends are very jealous ;)
It is no better for us. Appearances aside, I used to get hit up by women that had absolutely nothing in common with the profile I posted. Then I would get these nasty messages when I ignored their contact.
At least the second to last guy was attempting a smile.

To be brutaly honest, good guys and the attractive ones will go for younger girls, this is why you have these people on dating sites and not in clubs tapping the youth.

What makes them creepy? Have they sent you a message which is unpleasant? If you don’t find them attractive, that’s not the same as creepy.
I guess by their looks, they don't know how to interact with women. I respect them and all, but I still don't get anything back.
