I'm here today to ask who are the people you are attracted to whom everyone seems to think is ugly, weird, or non-conventionally attractive. This is probably not too strange, and I don't understand the "ugly" comments but I'm like really really hot for the rapper post malone. Every time I say that people look at me weirdly and ask me why. Has anyone shared this experience of social shaming for your attractions?
Are you attracted to any weird, odd or unconventional people?
My generation is pretty synthetic so most people bore me. I'm always for the underdog and/or generally drawn to people who are quirky. I'd never date guys that look like instagram models or have basic/bland interests. I can admire their features through an artsy lense, but I'm not attracted to them :/ Chubby men and women can be freaking adorable which is funny because when I was younger I used to think that body fat was super gross. I've also noticed that I tend to find myself in the likes of people who have "taboo" interests or kinks (which can be good or rlly bad idek lol).
really our generation? But regardless, I understand that. I'm not attracted a lot of the time to a lot of men that are traditionally beautiful, if not perfect. I like at least one "flaw" in how they look. I'm also with you on the chubby thing, I'm straight but I remember seeing this girl at a local swimming pool of all places who would be considered overweight, not by a huge amount but definitely above the norm, and I though she was the most gorgeous human I'd ever seen, like the women in Peter Paul Rubens's work.
He's actually really cute even though his body is not my type at all. I like them skinny. However, I know exactly what you mean. I consider Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen (when he lived) incredibly attractive. Also, the singer from Razorlight (Johnny Borrell). naa not really. but I reckon, if you hold yourself to how you want to look, then you shouldn't care less about people's opinions, because thats it, its their own, subjective, opinion.
ohh, you want to know why he is seen as ugly, ahh sure, the hair looks unkept, the beard is wild, the (picture) clothes dont appear to match, and a nose ring. but thats really all subjective, like I said. I dont know post malone, but thats what It looks to me. I guess the standard of being hygienic and well kept and maintained, and if it doesn't fit that, then it looks wild and out of place, and therefore ugly?
Bummy, nonimaginative, bearded, unkept men are neither odd, nor weird or unconventional. It's really the opposite. It's super trendy to be that guy you're describing. A neck tattoo once meant 'stay the F away' but now it's everywhere, on every rust ass kids neck who has more money and social freedom than he should or deserves.
Thank you, thank you, I'm not alone! Seriously, my friends poke fun at me about it so much, they're convinced it's just me being weird. When he gets older I'm more partial to him with stubble/ a generally unshaven look about him myself.
@bobbydevour Yup agreed. Normal is boring. It is like you try to fit in and be like others and lose your individuality. Weird people are strong individuals. If I had to choose between having "normal" or weird partner I'd choose weird every damn day.
That's the reason I mever judge others not their appearance, style or actions. Always appreciated people who acted and held themselves differently than others. It's so easy to be like everyone else but It needs riskiness to embrace yourself as being different.
