I had a crush on a guy for almost a year, we were also good friends. When I finally told him how I felt, he said he doesn't feel the same. But he wanted us to stay friends and said "yeah okay" because I didn't know what else to say to him. Few days later I ghosted him. It's terrible but couldn't stay friends because I was in love with him, and I didn't know how to tell him that I can't be friends. I missed him for couple months and then I forgot about him.

Yes I do. Not miss as in "Oh I want you back" but more like "maybe I should have said a proper goodbye instead of leaving them hanging". They did know I wasn't interested but they still wanted to remain friends. I didn't want to hurt their feelings so I didn't tell them I was going to stop talking to them. It's better they hate me than them missing me and wanting me.

I've ghosted people but I've done it purely to protect my well being. I sometimes wonder if my judgment is wrong but in the long run I have more peace of mind.
As they say some people only come into your life for a short time.
So why cry over spilt milk right !

I dated a girl over summer that i really liked, she broke up with me and after a couple months called me and started sending back and forth snaps or whatever every week or so, then i saw she was dating someone new, so i blocked her on everything, does that count as ghosting? I miss her tho sure, doubt id talk to her even if she was able to get ahold of me somehow, just wouldn't reply
