Shy girl stops responding to text?

So I am pretty depressed right now. I mustered the courage to text this girl I like and she said,”oh hi did you need something.” It’s been a hour and the best reason I see her for not texting back is it’s 9 pm and she is probably sleeping. She is shy and I have heard shy girls are different in how they handle conversations so does anyone have a explanation or should I move on?

So... its officially been a long time. As you can see last text started at 9:03 PM it's currently 10:03 AM. I am more than done... I think she has no interest but she is shy so I don't know. But thank you my heart's shattered but I get through it and I am just going to tell her how I feel for her tomorrow.

oiiiii hate it when someone doesn't text me back, to be honest i would just try to ignore it, do something you like, like a sport or text your other friends?

u are really worried about her aren't u? I suggest talking to her in person and see if she opens up, but most of the time shy girls are really shy and kind, she said "do you need something" just talk to her in person, see if she opens up

I don't know why people are making excuses for why she didn't reply is she soo shy that she can't reply to "what's up"? I don't know what to say, maybe she doesn't know what you're intentions are but it's just rude to not reply at all. Let us know how it goes though when you tell her how you feel.

When she said "did u need something?" , you should reply her like you need something or help from her to continue this conversation. Im sure she'll try to help you everything she can. Im a shy girl too. I always want to give help to my crush. We, shy girls need a conversation from boys first. So keep talking to her whenever you get chance.
