+1 yNever ghosted a romantic partner but I’ve been ghosted.
Not sure if this counts as “ghosting” but I did walk away from a frienemy without saying a word. She had an opinion about basically everything that I did and not one word of it was supportive. If I expressed hurt feelings she wrote them off and told me to get over it. I finally just cut ties with her, deleted her number, deleted her on social media, etc. she found out and gave me a shitstorm about it but whatever.
I regret that I ghosted instead of just telling her “fuck you, we’re done” however, I don’t regret walking away from her.00 Reply

+1 yDid it once years ago before it was even a term, yes still feel guilty about it to this day that's why I never do it

Some may not agree, but if you're ghosting people , that shows you only run from responsibilities and don't face it head on. They should just tell the person the truth like a mature adult. You can't just run away everytime you don't like the person. Be a man!!!

AMEN to that! Applause! High fucking Five! And all the rest of that good stuff!
Just be real and say what needs to be said so that you can both move on.
Stop intentionally hurting others because it’s easier for you. - +1 y
I whole heartedly agree. Ghosting is a chickenshit tactic utilized by cowards to avoid being an adult and dealing with your problems. You can't run from your problems because you can't run from yourself. Grow the fuck up and handle your shit head on.

Thank you to @HitGirl_4680 and @TheAceholeSupreme666 for your responses. I completely agree with both of you.
- +1 y
Could not agree more@TheAceholeSupreme666 can I give you someone’s number to relay that to haha
I say haha but it’s actually not funny. It’s mean, nasty and very hurtful.
I get people stop liking people for whatever reason but there is a wrong and right way to go about things. Be respectful and kind. Allow that person to move on. That’s all we really ask of each other.
This world has become a very sad and dark place. No one gives a fuck about anyone but themselves anymore. And if you speak up your called crazy.
😔 - +1 y
@HitGirl_4680 a phone number, you say?
Perhaps you should be the onevto make that phone call, not me. - +1 y
You know it was for a bit of a laugh. And more so coming from a male to a male might knock some sense into him!!
I know I need to walk away but it’s hard when you really care about someone. You just hope that one day if you keep holding on they might stop playing games with you and realise how much you care about them if you show that by sticking by them through this shitty part 😔
Maybe I’m being stupid - +1 y
@HitGirl_4680 no, your not being stupid.
- +1 y
@HitGirl_4680 a bit of a laugh... sure, why not?
- +1 y
I’ve a big heart when I care about someone. I’m not someone that just runs away when things get tough. I want to walk beside the person through those times in hope that I’ll be with them at the end.
I know he’s an amazing guy and I don’t want to let that part go as I hope he will get back to that when he’s finally over being a dick. - +1 y
@HitGirl_4680 Keep the faith, girlie.
- +1 y
He does things on purpose tho. Like he will message me and then I’ll reply and he will completely ignore me and not reply till ages later the next day or even a day or two later. He’ll lie and say oh sorry I was asleep but I know for 100% sure he wasn’t that he was texting others.
Why he is fucking with my head is beyond me. If he doesn’t want me let me go for god sake. But if he does want me stop fucking with me.
It’s just cruel. And I’m so head fucked at this point I have no idea what the hell to do. Ignore his games and stay strong hoping he will stop. Or walk the yuck away and say I’m better than that. - +1 y
@HitGirl_4680 trust your gut and follow your heart.
- +1 y
@HitGirl_4680 sometimes, you have to get out of your head and surrender to your heart.
- +1 y
I want to be with him, I care about him, i want to one day fall in love with him, I want to be the girl at the end that he chooses over all the others and I would be willing to go through hell if that were the case.
But my heart is huge and will take a lot of beating when I feel for someone when maybe it shouldn’t.
As I said maybe he doesn’t even like me.

Yes 😂 but people usually have a reason. It's just not a valid reason most of those times.
00 Replyno? everyone has a right to pick and choose who they interact with. demonising that is really immature

+1 yI don't because one time I didn't ghost someone and they wouldn't leave me alone for weeks. Longer than we've been seeing each other. Just not worth it sometimes.
00 ReplyI think they can't feel anything. When they did this to me I felt terrible. now I think them. Garbage left my life on its own. Both were garbage. nothing more
00 ReplyI ghost for a damn good reason. The guilt part has been left behind far before.
But still sometimes i feel, but they made me choose this, all is good😂😂😂😂00 Reply2.1K opinions shared on Dating topic. In the past I've ghosted girls who got on my nerves because they couldn't stop "fancying" me, that quickly grew annoying. And no, I didn't feel guilty.

+1 yNope because I would never ghost someone I have actually formed a relationship with. I only ghost if we have only had one date or something.

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yYeah, I felt sort of guilty at first, but they had shown their true colors and I felt the relationship was very dangerous.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yNo I'm usually done with the person I ghosted. I've given them too many times to act right, so I just leave
00 ReplyAt first I did. Now I don't even flinch. I refuse to keep bad company around.

Rude!
- +1 y
Lol possibly, but I've had a lot of bad people in my life. Liars, cheaters, manipulators, and abusers would constantly take advantage of me being nice and the choice is either keep them around and keep getting hurt or ghost them and work on myself as an individual. It may be rude but I can say life has been infinitely easier to deal with lol.
- +1 y
So your being like them then. Does that make you as bad!
- +1 y
I'm not bad for stopping myself from being a victim. I don't lie, cheat, manipulate the people around me because I have genuine love for them. Also to be honest you have a very skewed point of view if that's what you think of me. So until you walk a mile in my shoes save the judgment for someone who's actually a bad person 🖒
