I always feel bad when I ghost someone, especially when they're on the hook for me. I feel it because I also feel the same when someone ghosts me.
But this is the game and people are scared of the consequences. In our society, we make it okay to start problems but never own up. We always develop excuses in order to give us our way. We always look for short cuts in order to get us what we want.
These are habits and behaviors that were developed since our youth. I'm sure there are many excuses or reasons you've made when you were a kid to get whatever that is you want. And when you get caught red-handed, you are also trying to lie your way out.
We are always playing with a poker face when it comes to dating and when things are just too complicated, we just want to get out as soon as we can with as little remorse as possible.
