GIRLS: do you have a texting strategy?

Do girls wait for the guy to text them first? because personally I"ll be waiting for her to text me first sometimes and she never does. Whenever I text her though she always reply's back right away but, she will never text me first even though I always do. She seems interested but, I'm not sure. Is it normal for a girl to do this? because guys like to be texted just as much as girls do. lol. Thanks for your comments.

Hah good question. See girls often think that guys should be the first to text or call them. This is a case that I think will probably nevr be solved because all guys and girls are different and it's a combination of who will and won't text first. After a date, the girl waits a day or two and supposedly if they haven't heard anything, that's it..But the guy is probably thinking that she is perfectly capable of texting him because she has his number too, correct? Right now, my guy friend goes through stages where he will text me every day, and then all of a sudden I don't hear from him for a week. Then I take it upon myself to text him. I think if one person is interested, they should begin the conversation sometimes at least..

girls wait for guys to do everything if you haven't realized. we wait for you to ask us out because we are always told that guys have to ask us out, we are told that we have to wait for someone to ask us to marry them. this may seem like big stuff to texting but I know that if he's not texting he must not be missing me enough so I just shrug it off and wait, and yes every text message that we get we hope its from you, might as well always text first unless you tell her about it .

Personally I like to be texted first.Keep in mind that some girls (like me) hate texting guys first because I feel like they are annoying them or they are being too clingy. I like when a guy text me first because it shows he's thinking about me, But you do make sense when you say guys like to be texted by the girl first but girls have a tendency to make situations more complicated than they are lol next time you text her try saying something along the lines of "hey you text me tomorrow" or "you can text me whenever you want to" it will make it seem like you want to hear from her as well. hope this helped! :)

i myself want the guy to text me first because I don't want to seem like a crazy stalker, but I have recently texted a guy first and it has gone "good" I guess. it just seems like normal if the guy does it first just like asking someone out its no big deal if the girl asks first but its traditional if the guy asks first

YES! Its defiantly a good sign! But don't leave her waiting like don't text her automatically but don't make her wait an hour Because that gets so annoying!

yes if a girl texts you first it is a good sign, the only reason I would never text first is if I don't like the guy and if I am just not interested at all

i will text a guy first but rarely, I hear all the time from my guy friends that some girls are too clingy, and I don't want to be that. so sometimes I will text first but not often

No strategy. I never text anyone first...not because I don't want to but because I don't remember to. And being busy doesn't help either.

Yes! A guy I like always texts me first so if he doesn't, I won't message because I'm worried that I'm annoying him. So if she messages you first, take it as a good sign because it means you're on her mind : )
