I think both men and women should speak up when there's an issue and try to work through it rather than keeping things in and adding pressure or build up stress. People should talk to each other with reason, don't just go yelling at each other, saying bad words, and making hurtful comments. It's also important to understand the circumstances, like sometimes you have to wait a bit bring up an issue because the other person is going through a tough time at work. So, voice your opinions but also be considerate the other's situation.
It's not your role to be anything for anyone but your true authentic self. Being tight lipped, controlled and perfect does nobody any good.

Yes and no. Like she shouldn't start arguments, she should hold her tongue to avoid unecessary problems, she should keep drama out of the relationship and of course no nagging but at the same time she shouldn't be silent on matters instead communicating and consulting with her man on her personal thoughts, any problems she may have, anything she may want or need as well giving advice to him. The key word is communication and with most men you catch more bees with honey than vinegar.
