If I’m told I’m attractive why am I always single (honest answers)?

This is what I don’t get. I don’t think I’m beautiful per say, I think I am letting others feedback get to my head. Mind you, I was never the popular girl or one that guys liked.

I just don’t get it. I am always single! It hurts me because I take time out of my day to look my best. I’ve slimmed down and what not, still no difference in the attention I’ve received from guys.

Every beautiful women I’ve know is always taken and has no issue getting guys. I’m never approached and don’t have a social life, hence why I use apps.

How much skinnier do I have to get? Why don’t men like me the way they like other women? Apps don’t work for me. I am 25 and never been in a relationship. The few times I’ve been asked out, the guy was not my cup of tea physically. I refuse to date someone I don’t find attractive. It’s not picky, it’s an honest preference. I don’t know why dating is so hard for me.

Those chicks that seem to get all the guys, do they have direction in life, careers, skills, ambitions?

I feel like the more “wishy washy” of the female species get picked first because their male counter part isn’t intimidated by them.

Do you have a career, skills, experience, traveled the world even? I find that men find that very intimidating. At least for me, I’m one of the more accomplished women in my generation but I hardly get a glance.

If this is totally off let me know but this has been my experience for 27 years.

But that’s the thing. There are a lot of beautiful and successful women that have a man. Look at Michelle Obama, Kate Middleton etc. They found men that weren’t intimidated by them, decent men too. I don’ know if that’s what people say to feel better about their situation. From the photo though, you look pretty if that helps :)

Certainly not at a night club, those are the worst women usually. I’d say most people who you meet outside (at a park, ball game, hiking, etc) are very solid.

I work and live in a national park and dating is the hardest thing in the world. Yet, there are so many amazing, smart, gorgeous women who work in outdoor recreation.

Honestly, could be a lot of different things. Maybe it’s where you’re located that is the cause for why you’re not getting a lot of different men approaching you? Maybe it’s a certain look you have that is off-putting for men? Maybe it’s just the fact that you’re unattractive to these men? Maybe it’s the fact that you don’t put yourself in too many social situations to meet a lot of men? Again, it’s hard to say what it is without seeing how you look and examining what you do in your life day to day.

I feel your pain. I don't want to be single either, but there it is.
My new philosophy is just say fuck it. Work on myself; all about me. Improve myself a little bit everyday and do something everyday that gives me a little joy and no stress.
