Why won't he give me a picture of himself?

I'm in a long distance dating with a guy. I have asking him to taking the picture of him like a selfie (I mean with clothes on of course! Not asking for a naked cos that would be stupid!) and he said he will do send me a selfie but he didn’t send me a selfie? Why? Does that mean he doesn’t want me to miss him or what it’s then? I just don’t getting it. The reason why I have asked him to taken the picture of him to show interest about each other and see how’s his day stuff like that. I am confusing...
