Why would he post a picture where you can't see me?

So the guy I'm dating posted a picture of us for the first time. And Im turning to the side and covering my face but he has a bunch of other pictures where you can see my face. I asked him about it and he said he thought it was cute.

To me it seems like he's hiding me. So I'm upset, especially because he was dumb enough to leave pictures of his ex when I first met him so I know he posted pictures of her even if he wasn't in it.

Is this a valid reason to be really upset? Or am I being dramatic lol

Worded that weird, I meant he has other pictures on bis phone ge could've posted. That's the first pic he posts of us.

That could go either way. I’ve taken pics of my girl and I where she’s shy or whatever the case may be so she’s covering her face or partially covering her face. So it’s cute. But I also have pic of her face that I’ve posted as well. So in your situation, it may be cute but the fact that you said he has other pics of your face could signal a red flag. It also depends on how long you two have been dating. If he took you out of the pic completely then I’d say he doesn’t want people to know about you or he’s embarrassed about you.

Ah I see what you mean, thank you! Yea we went on a trip so we had touristy pics where you could see my face, I think I was walking away on the one he posted so I thought it looked pretty weird😅

If you don’t like it then ask him to take it down and either post a more flattering pic or don’t post one at all. If you feel like he’s hiding you then call him out on it. I’m sure my suggestions seem pretty blunt but the thing is, you need to be able to tell him when things bother you, without fear of the outcome, because being silent about one thing opens the door for you to remain silent in others, therefore tolerating more things that you probably shouldn’t and building up negative feelings. You don’t want to explode once the build up is out of your control. However if you HAVE already addressed this and he still does it, that’s another story.
