What are the best/worst professions to date?

A businessman. As a daughter of parents who ran a business, I know all the ups & downs. And the downs weighed heavily on me, so. If you run your business, you're incredibly busy and will definitely miss out on a lot of things, i. e. you child's school play that meant a lot to them, a family gathering, a birthday party, etc. It's not the businessman's fault ofc, it's just a demanding job; and you're gonna gonna have to change through economic changes too, so you won't always be wealthy, sometimes you can be really poor.

I just feel like I have such a resentment for the job considering things I've went through bwith my family, that I wouldn't be happy with a bf/gf who wanted their sole money-earning way to be running a business. It's boring, busy, stressful and I have a lot of negative memories attached to it growing up.

Mostly because, while claiming she is 'romantic' - just about every woman is anything BUT romantic - with an endless list of things that are 'bad', 'not sufficient', 'not good enough' - and generally too princessy for her to actually be a queen.

Case in point - there are women who classify men by their profession. If I was to do that, the list of potential dates would be tiny (I'm very senior in computing, an Oxford graduate and a few other things).
So to look for anything near - and with some moral fibre - would probably mean just the royal families (if that)

My apologies if I misunderstood you on initial reading. Just that you clearly stated that the worse case scenario for you was dating a woman so I assumed you enjoyed the company of men instead. In my eyes there is nothing wrong with that so I can not see how this was in any way an attack on you or an argumentum ad hominem. If anything at all that was just cogitatio critica.

No, I said the worst profession to date is a woman.
The mainstream woman has stopped being a human being around 1999 and turned into a professional commander/know-it-all/abuser. It's not a human trait, it's a choice, so closer to being a profession - I know best, you pay the money (for my mistakes) - said to a man between the lines.
Thanks for your wishes 👍 - I don't find men the least bit attractive sexually (or even sensually when they are butch and 'manly' - and the feminine ones I don't need, would prefer that to be a woman or a girlfriend) - but sadly the professional woman always knows best, so it's a wait until one decides I fit her agenda well. Or figures she can trust me after there being mutual attraction (the latter happening quite often, the former basically when attraction is involved as well, for some reason I don't understand)

My current girlfriend is a nurse and I admire her greatly for it.
Worst profession to date - any profession that demands a lot and so can be detrimental to the relationship. And nurse can and be one of them!

Worst would be anything that requires traveling/time away from home or being on call.
Best would be something like a teacher because they would have the same time off work as our future children would and get plenty of family time together.

Hospital doctors are Hospital nurses they work 12-hour shifts or more and a married to their job and just go home sleep and shower and eat and repeat. Plus they're always on call
