My friends with benefits and I used to text purely to arrange a hookup.
I mean just the other week we had the “This is just sex” chat, however, we’ve now gone from texting to arrange a hookup, to texting all day everyday, and talking about normal day to day things seeing how each other’s days have been etc.
Anyway, he just texted to say “Seeing you this weekend is the only thing that is getting me through this week”
Does this mean anything?
Am I overthinking and reading into this way too much?

He is falling in love with you... the both of you are attracted to each other for whatever reason and maybe him more than you. If you are with someone else and he is your friends with benefits and your friends with benefits is alone then that answers it. Once you enter the friends with benefits arena you are pretty much friends with benefits for life even if you get married. Shy away from friends with benefits if you intend to marry as much as it appears to be great the appreciation and feeling is even better when you meet the right one. just my opinion
Anything to easy like being sexually satisfied by a friends with benefits does not allow for true committed love and respect
