Selfie on the first date?

I went out to meet with a guy today that I met on an app about 3 days ago. We both met halfway in a random city and hit it off immediately. There was definitely some chemistry there, we talked, kissed, and I wouldn’t let him take it to the next base. He was completely okay with it and understood. We just sat in my car and talked and held hands and made out.

He then took his phone out and was like “let’s take a selfie” I was surprised because I didn’t think that was a thing these days. I haven’t been on a date in forever. It was my first date in after my 6 year relationship. Not sure what to think of it? He’s going to be coming down next weekend to see me again
