OMG! Love this question.

So when I was 16 I went on my first real date with my boyfriend. We were going to see a movie.

His mother brought him to my home and when I went outside to get in the car my boyfriend got out of the car and started walking towards me. He was walking to the same car door that I was going to. I was confused, like why get out of the car just to get back in it?

So I just asked him what he was doing and why he was coming to my door (I was a bit irritated because I found the behavior bizarre). He responded, "I wanted to hold the door open for you".

I was sooooo embarrassed and things were awkward in that moment. But I was also completely charmed by his chivalry. I've never had a guy go out of his way to do something like that for me.

It became a core memory that day and I will always remember that moment.
